Torn to Treasure Upcycling Space

Coming up next Tuesday and open to all generations of makers. We’ll put the kettle on and create a cozy space to get crafty. Hopefully the first of many “upcycling” events. Follow up event on March 29th to help motivate you to finish what you start on the 18th. See you there!
On the menu:
10:00 assemble, set up space and start prepping t-shirts and sheets
10:30 Visible Mending Demo with Maris – bring your torn jeans or something to mend, embroidery thread (or start with ours)
11:30 – Crocheted Basket Demo with Glenda – bring an old sheet (or start with ours)
12:30 – Bring your own lunch
1:00 – Rag Rug demo with Jen – bring old t-shirts (or start with ours)
2:00 Free time to craft or spontaneous demos
3:30 Clean Up
Bring: scissors, materials as mentioned above.
Cost: by donation
